Benchmade Under Investigation by US Immigration for Using Illegal Mexican Immigrants as Labor to Assemble Knives in Oregon.

ICE (Immigration & Customs Enforcement) is investigating Benchmade Knife Company for using assembly workers without legal Green Cards and are not legally allowed to work in the US.

It has been reported to ICE that Benchmade uses illegal aliens migrant workers to assemble their knives in their factory in Oregon.

Benchmade is also under investigation for wage fixing. It has been reported that Benchmade’s assembly line workers are 80% female and that wages are 1/3 less for all female workers.

Benchmade is under investigation for violating the rights of females in the work place and the continued "Glass Ceiling" effect that women are suffering in manufacturing jobs in the US.
